New £3,000 internet funding scheme
Having internet issues? Perhaps you would like a free handout to plan for your future infrastructure requirements? The West Sussex Broadband Connection Voucher Scheme runs until 1st February 2017 or until the £330,000 funding runs out, and will provide up to £3,000 to your business.

You can either apply as an individual business or as a ‘cluster’ with other businesses in the same building or business park. We can also discuss this funding with landlords, to help them upgrade buildings on your behalf.

We helped businesses throughout the UK benefit from this schemes predecessor, the Government’s Broadband Connection Voucher Scheme, with a pot of £40m to be handed out to eligible SMEs. We can even look after all the paperwork on your behalf.

How It Works

Please make sure you check that you are eligible (see below) and then Email us with your address and postcode. We will then perform some checks and see what it currently available to you and at what cost.

We will need to have a quick chat about your existing set up and what you are entitled to. We will then discuss all elements of the free handout with you. You can then order the new or upgrade on your service with us and an order is placed.

We project manage everything, so you’ll be kept up to date with the installation. Once the service is live we will complete the council paperwork for you to then sign and email to West Sussex County Council.

You must be classed as a SME so employ less than 250 people and have less than €50 turnover. The definition can be found here.

West Sussex Location

Your business property must be located within the County of West Sussex. By emailing us your address and postcode, we can let you know if you are eligible.

Product Type

The new or upgraded service is capable of providing access speeds in excess of 30Mbps download. More information can be found here or we ask you the pertinent questions to save you time.

You agree to participate in follow-up monitoring of the economic impact of the Voucher Scheme. The follow-up survey will comprise a short on-line survey which will take around 15 minutes to complete.

VAT Costs

If you are registered for VAT then project cost will be paid net of VAT therefore all costs listed in the claim must exclude VAT as these are recoverable. If you are not VAT registered then project cost included in claims will be paid gross, therefore all cost included in claim should include VAT.

The Scheme has a final end date of 31 March 2017 for claims. Hence you must ensure that we can complete installation and invoice you before 31 March 2017 in order for West Sussex County Council to process your claim.
